A better fit can prevent injuries and the increased comfort also encourages passengers to buckle up. The BMW X7 doesn’t offer height-adjustable front seat belts.

A passive infrared night vision system standard on the Vistiq Premium Luxury/Platinum helps the driver to more easily detect people, animals or other objects in front of the vehicle at night. Using an infrared camera to detect heat, the system then displays the image on a monitor in the dashboard. The X7 doesn’t offer a night vision system.

The Vistiq’s electric motors produces 240 more horsepower (615 vs. 375) and 252 lbs.-ft. more torque (650 vs. 398) than the X7 xDrive40i’s standard 3.0 turbo 6-cylinder hybrid. The Vistiq’s electric motors produces 92 more horsepower (615 vs. 523) and 97 lbs.-ft. more torque (650 vs. 553) than the X7 M60i’s standard 4.4 turbo V8 hybrid. To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Vistiq has a standard rear fixed intermittent wiper with a full on position. The rear wiper standard on the X7 only has an intermittent setting, so in a hard rain visibility isn’t as good.

The Cadillac Vistiq stands out above the BMW X7 by offering not one, but two Qi-compatible phone chargers. This convenience helps travelers with multiple devices to keep powered up on-the-go. Wireless charging eliminates lost or cluttered charging cables and two of them provide more flexibility. Both vehicles also offer Qi charging for the second row passengers.

The Vistiq has a 115-volt a/c outlet on the center console, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The X7 doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
